The events for the International Day Against Violence Against Women begin with a reading of a manifesto by representatives of all the political groups in the municipality, these readings taking place in the various colleges in Nerja.
The students will also be informed of the work and activities being carried out at the Municipal Information Centre for Women and members of the Guardia Civil will outline steps to follow in the case of domestic violence.
At 17:30, the same manifesto will be read out in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall, followed at 18:00 by a gathering on the Balcón de Europa to pay tribute to the victims of gender violence.
Participating in this event will be the newly formed Municipal Theatre Company Balcón de Europa. Everyone is invited to come along and show their support.
