The National Police have dismantled the largest cocaine production laboratory ever found in Cataluña and the fourth largest discovered in Spain.
The 15,000 square metre laboratory was located in a farmhouse in an isolated rural area of Vila-seca and was disguised as a factory producing souvenir dolls. The laboratory had a production capacity of around 20 kilos of cocaine per week.
A number of people have been detained and large quantities of chemicals and other materials have been seized, both from the factory and in various apartments in Tarragona and Barcelona.
