A couple and their two children aged 2 years and 5 years are in a very serious condition following a fire at their home in Lloseta, Mallorca.
The fire occurred at around 01:00 at the house in calle Guillem Santandreu in Lloseta, completely destroying the living room and filling the rest of the house with smoke.
The man is in a critical condition with burns over 50% of his body. He has been transferred to the Vall d’Hebrón in Barcelona. The woman has burns to 70% of her body and is also in a critical condition.
The two children suffered burns and severe smoke inhalation but their lives are said not to be in danger. The causes of the fire have not yet been established.
