A total of eleven people had to be rescued on Christmas Day after becoming trapped by snow on the A-1178 between the towns of Bacares and Serón in Almeria.
At around 17:20 the Emergency Services received a call that four vehicles had been caught by a storm between km 19 and 34 on the A-1178 near Calar Alto. No-one was injured but the road was closed due to a number of vehicles being trapped by the snow.
