A partial thirty-minute strike by employees of the Catalan TV3 television channel prevented the broadcast of the King’s Christmas message on Tuesday.
The strike, a protest at plans to outsource advertising management, began at 20:50 on Tuesday evening.
A summary of the Christmas message was broadcast after the ‘live’ version. A further partial stoppage is planned for December 31st.
