The authorities in Algeciras have seized 227 kilos of cocaine hidden in a shipment of bananas in transit from Ecuador to Saudi Arabia.
The authorities were suspicious of the shipment and once the customs formalities had been finalised they opened the container. Hidden within the legitimate cargo of bananas were five sports bags containing 227 kilos of cocaine.
