Shoes, roadworks and other bits…

Temperatures suddenly dropped again after the long weekend ‘glitch’  of calm, sunny days and temperatures in the twenties. There were plenty of people on the beaches at the weekend, even a few dangling their toes in the water.

Meanwhile, Calzados Pili in calle El Barrio is open and trading, so we now have three shoe repair shops in town.

On the other hand, the hairdresser in calle Animas near the junction with calle Granada has closed.

If we ever wondered where the (taxpayer) money goes, it would seem that the Education Ministry of the regional government has a head (and presumably whole department) of Team Values and a Co-ordinator for Coexistence.

The work in calle Carmen continues, just basically the paving stones to be put neatly into place.

The roadworks in calle Chaparil are still omgoing between the junction of calle Antonio Millón and calle Jaén.
