An Eagle Owl, the largest European nocturnal bird of prey, had to be rescued on Thursday afternoon after becoming trapped between the glass and the railings on the second floor of the mortuary in Nerja.
Local Police officers from the Environmental Health Unit captured the poor bird and contacted the Centre for the Recovery of Endangered Species in Málaga.
