Police in La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, have arrested British national David Paul Mather, wanted by the UK authorities in connection with a ten kilo heroin haul in 2010.
Mather appeared on the latest list of ‘most wanted’ fugitives issued by Crimestoppers UK in November 2013. He was carrying false documentation at the time of his arrest in La Linea.
Mather is the second fugitive from the latest Crimestoppers list to be arrested in Spain. In 2006, Crimestoppers UK launched their campaign to identify fugitives who could be hiding in Spain and since then, 58 out of 76 of those on the lists have been arrested.
