Brisa, an Iberian Lynx at the breeding centre in El Acebuche in the Doñana Park, gave birth to four cubs on Saturday morning.
The little ones were born in the space of two hours from 06:10 in the morning and all are well and suckling normally. Brisa apparently experienced some difficulty with the final birth due to tiredness.
Brisa was born at the Doñana centre in 2005 as a result of the breeding programme. With this litter there are now five cubs born this year, with ‘Adelfa’ being the first of the season some four weeks ago.
