Work on the access road to the non-existent Fire Station is almost completed and the Council expects to sign the official reception documents within a few days.
The road has cost €164,460 and is being financed by the Málaga Provincial Council. As to the Fire Station itself, the local and provincial Councils maintain their willingness to advance the funding for the project, although they will require to be repaid by the Junta de Andalucia, but there has been no news on this front.
The project has been ‘in the planning’ for several years now, waiting for the Junta de Andalucia to make a commitment.
