The Hermandad del Perdón – Brotherhood of Forgiveness – in Córdoba is investigating an incident in which bleach was poured over the blue-green mantle of the Virgen del Rocío y Lágrimas, causing damage.
The image is the one involved in Wednesday’s procession and a mantle had to be borrowed from another brotherhood.
