There have been three forest fires in Almeria in less than 48 hours, the latest being in the Sierra de los Filabres near Partaloa.
A fire in Somontín, which began on Sunday, has been extinguished. Eighty personnel were involved in controlling the blaze which destroyed an area of pine and scrub.
Not yet stabilised due to the difficulty of the terrain and high winds is a forest fire which began on Sunday near Lucainena de las Torres.
