Police in Valencia have arrested 32-year-old Dosanu P in connection with the murder of his wife in El Ejido, Almeria.
The detainee, who had confessed to relatives that he had killed his wife, 32-year-old Mariana Muresanu, fled the scne after the killing, taking a taxi to Nijar.
He then stole a car and headed to Carboneras where, at knife-point, he stole another vehicle and headed for Valencia. Police had spread photos of Dosanu P via various social networks in order to solicit public cooperation in the search.
Dosanu P was eventually located in a hotel in Valencia and was arrested, the GOES Special Task Force being called in as he was considered armed and dangerous.
