Not a good start on grass for world number one Rafael Nadal as he suffered a shock straight-sets defeat to Dustin Brown at the Gerry Weber Open in Germany.
Nadal, who won his ninth French Open title last Sunday, lost his first match on grass this year 6-4 6-1 in under an hour. World number 85 Brown will play Philipp Kohlschreiber in the quarter finals.
