One man died and six others were injured on Monday morning when the van in which they were travelling overturned on the A-7 near Macharaviaya, Málaga province.
The accident occurred at 08:10 at km 259.1 in the direction of Cádiz. Six of the occupants of the van were apparently masons who were travelling from Almería to Málaga in order to work. The seventh occupant, who died in the accident, was the father of one of the other occupants.
The incident is under investigation but it is thought that a tyre blowout could have caused the vehicle to overturn.
