Málaga Provincial Council has approved the funding, €65,000, for the renovation of calle Iglesias and calle Tajillo, projects approved by the Nerja Council at the beginning of January 2014.
Also approved was funding of €80,000 for the renovation of calle Trancos, a small street running between calle Pintada and calle Cristo.
The funding is part of a provincial package of €720,000 aimed at promoting employment and improving the economy of the province.
Other municipalities to benefit from the funding are Yunquera, with €282,686 for the construction of a mortuary, and Monda, with €88,454 for the renovation of calle Marbella.
