National Police officers in Córdoba have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of animal abuse after he was seen beating his dog to death in the street and dumping the body in a rubbish container.
A local resident reported seeing a man hit his dog several times on the head and then put the body in a bag before depositing it in a rubbish container. Police found the body of the dog and immediately proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator.
