Work has started on asphalting the section of the N-340 between the Punta Lara roundabout and the Rapto de Europa, this being financed by the Málaga Provincial Council.
The work is costing €120,000 and in addition to asphalting includes improvements to the paved areas, signs and road drainage.
The Council reports that it will also contribute funds to complete the asphalting as far as the municipal border with Torrox.
