Rescue teams in Sadernes, Girona, have located a corpse in the river Llierca which is thought to be that of a 20-year-old girl missing since Sunday afternoon after falling into the water.
The girl was one of four people on a tour of the area and she fell into the river, swollen by the heavy rains and storms, at 14:00 on Sunday.
The body was spotted by one of the helicopter units involved in the search and was retrieved by members of the Fire Brigade. The body was found near the Sant Valenti bridge, about one kilometre downstream from the point where the girl fell in.
