A 22-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital in Granada after being shot several times on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at around midnight in calle Juan Pedro Mesa de León in the north of Granada city. After receiving calls from the public, police found the youth lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to the arms and legs. He was treated at the scene before being transferred to hospital.
The bullets didn’t hit any vital organs so although his condition is described as serious, they are not said to be life-threatening.
A vehicle in the area, unrelated to the incident, suffered a number of bullet holes and shell casings were found in the area. Police are not ruling out an arrest in the coming hours.
