A total of 45 people, mostly students, had to be evacuated from the pilot’s school in Jerez de la Frontera.
The fire began at around midnight and is thought to have started when a mattress in one of the rooms caught fire. No-one was injured and the students were able to return to their quarters once the fire had been extinguished.
