It was a good Inmaculada-Constitución weekend for the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, some 21,000 skiers making the most of the holiday weekend.
There were around 7,000 skiers on each of the three days of the holiday, with 45 kilometres of pistes open, which is 13 kilometres more than the historical average at the start of the season.
In addition to the skiers, around 5,000 people took the chance to ride the gondolas or play in the Mirlo Blanco family fun park. Hotel occupancy was at 80% for the weekend.
