The Councillor for Infrastructure and Sports, Antonio García, has announced his resignation, this having been unanimously approved by all the political parties.
Antonio Garcia has been in the government for the past four years, with significant responsibilities in infrastructure and recently in sports within the municipality.
García is leaving in order to take up professional employment in Madrid as from January 2015. He has not ruled out a return to politics at some future date, but for now he will be concentrating on his professional career.
