A group of women managed to stop a man who was allegedly trying to rape a girl in calle Carrera Espinel, Ronda.
The man, aged 40 years, reportedly dragged the girl to a doorway, pushed her to the floor, pulled off her clothing and attempted to sexually assault her. The girl’s screams attracted the attention of several women who, with the help of a taxi driver, cornered the alleged assailant.
The man was arrested and has been remanded in custody in prison. The victim required hospital treatment for various injuries and a panic attack as a result of the ordeal.
