A total of 23 clandestine entrants, 19 men, 3 women and a baby, were intercepted on Sunday off the coast of Almeria.
The migrant boat was spotted by a Maritime Rescue aircraft and then intercepted about 40 miles off Almeria.
The passengers were taken to Almeria port where, after being tended by the Red Cross, they were handed over to the National Police.
