Following the resignation in December of Councillor Antonio Garcia, the Mayor of Nerja has reassigned his duties to other councillors.
Responsibility for Sports passes to Gema Garcia, Public Works goes to Nieves Atencia and Operational Services, Roads and Roadworks, Water, Lighting and Sanitation pass to José Alberto Tomé.
Does this mean that there were too many councillors to start with?
