A woman died and four people required hospital treatment for smoke inhalation following a fire at a home in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla.
The fire began at around 19:40 on Saturday at a home in calle las Botijas, Dos Hermanas. One of the occupants of the house, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to the Hospital Universitario Virgen de Valme but died upon arrival. Efforts to resuscitate her failed.
Four other people, two of them relatives of the deceased, were also admitted to the hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
