A fire engine belonging to the Provincial Fire Consortium overturned at a roundabout in Vélez-Málaga on Tuesday morning.
The articulated vehicle overturned at around 10:15 at km 45,800 on the A-356 as it made its way to help with the extinguishing of a fire in Nerja.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for a check-up and he was discharged a little while later.
According to the manager of the Provincial Fire Consortium the vehicle was not travelling at excessive speed and this suggests it made contact with the kerb.
