The Provincial Solid Waste Consortium will be carrying out a programme of environmental education, awareness and participation to encouraging recycling.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage the selective collection and recycling of packaging materials in order to avoid waste.
Amongst the activities planned is an awareness campaign for traders in the town and a day of participation called ‘I recycle’ to be held at the market site on Tuesday March 10th 2015.
From March 16th to 19th, educational workshops will be held in various schools in the municipality and on April 9th there will be a trip to the Complejo Medioambiental Valsequillo for a group of 50 people representing various local associations.
