An 85-year-old woman died on Saturday night following a fire in an apartment in calle Extremadura in Jaén city.
The fire is thought to have started at around 23:00 on the first floor of the five-storey apartment block. The entire building was evacuated as a precautionary measure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
