Local police are investigating a recent act of vandalism that has taken place in the Verano Azul park where someone has tried to destroy one of the benches with a large stone.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident but has occurred over two consecutive weekends. The bench planks were broken in violent act which was then repeated the following weekend, after the bench had been repaired.
This is not the first time the area has suffered vandalism . Several months ago, a young man carried out a burning mattress to the football field at the Verano Azul park, causing almost €1000 of damage, according to the report by the town hall.
