A man was injured today and had to be transferred to Málaga via helicopter following an explosion at a farm in Nerja.
The man was reportedly working on a petrol engine when, for reasons as yet unknown, there was an explosion. A relative took the injured man to the Health Centre where, after an assessment of his injuries, it was decided to transfer him to hospital in Málaga.
The incident occurred at around midday and the smoke from the explosion caused locals to call the Emergency Services.
