On Friday September 18th at 21:00 is the official inauguration of a street being renamed in honour of local resident María Muñoz, more widely known in Nerja as Maria La Pulga.
The street is located in Las Protegidas, the area around Plaza de Andalucia. At 20:30, to start proceedings, the Zurrapas Band will be providing entertainment as they wander along calle Ruperto Andúez, San Pedro, San Pablo, Herrera Oria, García Alted, La Habana and calle Costa Rica, before ending up in calle María Muñoz ‘La Pulga’.
