The Council has been busy setting up various advisory committees and these were officially constituted on Thursday September 17th.
The Education and Culture, Youth and Sports committee discussed a PP proposal for a painting competition, an IU motion for the implementation of the Historical Memory Law in Nerja and another proposal to ratify a PP motion to request that repairs be carried out on the toilets at the San Miguel school.
The committee for Social Welfare, Health, the Elderly and Equality studied a motion for a Municipal Plan against Homophobia and Transphobia.
The Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries committee discussed an IU motion requesting action against energy poverty.
