The mayor of Nerja, the Councillor for Culture of the City, accompanied by Maro village’s Alejandro Barba Hernandez, and President of the Board of Celebration, all collaborated to support & co-ordinate the event for the animal protection organization ‘Estación Esperanza’(Hope Station) which took place on Sunday.
The large audience that attended, all willing to contribute to this worthy cause, were entertained by performances and served good food, which made the day an enjoyable fundraising event for animal welfare in the town.
The fundraiser began at ten o’clock, with a traditional Andalusian breakfast. The entertainment continued late into the evening, after a barbecue dinner enlivened by music and dancing creating an exciting atmosphere at the fundraiser on behalf of animal protection held in Maro.
