Costa Del Sol residents have been making the most of the beaches following the relaxation of the COVID-19 state of Emergency restrictions.
One resident who is one of the first people to arrive on the beach putting her sunshade up first thing in a morning reflects the feelings of many within the region:
“We’ve been stuck inside for a long time, my flat is quite dark, and I needed some sunshine; I was longing to come to the beach”
Town councils have announced measures that include mobile apps and increased Police patrols to ensure that bathers adhere to the two-metre social distancing rule for their safety.
