Nerja’s highest municipal budget in history was approved yesterday. The Partido Popular carried it forward thanks to the support of the Ciudadanos and Adelante parties. The PSOE abstained.
José Alberto Armijo, mayor of Nerja, reiterated his gratitude to the municipal groups that have responsibly supported the budget, “with the greatest political support in its history,” with 12,200,000 euros destined to the execution of investments aimed at the economic reactivation of Nerja and Maro during 2021.

Will the sewage problem finally be sorted out, switched on, functioning etc after what seems like 10 years of bad planning , non completions, broken promises etc. ???

It is currently in testing mode and is apparently working since November 2020. The sea does look very clean.
