CD Nerja still without a win, or a draw

CD Nerja are still without a point after five matches in the Regional Preferente Málaga, this time just being edged out 1-7 by Atlético Marbelli.

Atlético Madrid 2-1 Málaga

The visit to Atletico Madrid was always going to be a stern test for Málaga and so it proved on Sunday. Falcao put the home side ahead after just six minutes but Santa Cruz levelled things before the break.

Messi 2-2 Ronaldo

Honours even in the first clasico of the season at the Camp Nou, a better result for Barcelona as they maintain their eight point gap over their fierce rivals. However, it is the first time this season they have not won. Two goals from Messi and two from Ronaldo, as one might expect, so honours even on all counts.

Two out of two for Málaga

Two magnificent goals from Eliseu and a penalty from Joaquin saw Málaga to a comfortable win over Belgian side Anderlecht in their first away match in the Champions League and they top their group with a maximum six points.

Real Madrid 5-1 Deportivo

Nerja’s poor run continues after they were beaten 4-0 by Mijas, making it four losses out of four. Meanwhile, Real Madrid continue to climb up the table and are now in sixth place after a 5-1 win over Deportivo on Sunday.

Pedrosa wins in Aragon

Dani Pedrosa kept his faint championship hopes alive after winning the MotoGP in Aragon, his fourth victory of the season. Lorenzo, who won the title in 2010, came home in second place and now leads the standings by 33 points with four races remaining. Tech 3 Yamaha rider Andrea Dovizioso took third with Briton Cal Crutchlow finishing in fourth.

Sevilla 2-3 Barcelona

Two goals in the last four minutes saved the day for Barcelona as they came from behind against Sevilla to win 2-3.

Málaga 4-0 Real Betis

A dominant performance by the Blue and Whites as they beat fierce rivals Betis 4-0 at La Rosaleda.

Wins for Real and Sevilla

Real Madrid are back to eight points behind Barcelona after a 0-2 win over Rayo Vallecano, the match having been postponed for 24 hours after the lighting system at Rayo was sabotaged.
