The visit to Atletico Madrid was always going to be a stern test for Málaga and so it proved on Sunday. Falcao put the home side ahead after just six minutes but Santa Cruz levelled things before the break.

Honours even in the first clasico of the season at the Camp Nou, a better result for Barcelona as they maintain their eight point gap over their fierce rivals. However, it is the first time this season they have not won. Two goals from Messi and two from Ronaldo, as one might expect, so honours even on all counts.
Two out of two for Málaga
Two magnificent goals from Eliseu and a penalty from Joaquin saw Málaga to a comfortable win over Belgian side Anderlecht in their first away match in the Champions League and they top their group with a maximum six points.
Wins for Barcelona and Valencia in the Champions League
Barcelona came through their Champions League match against Benfica 2-0, although they finished the match with ten men and saw Puyol stretchered off the field with a serious injury.
Real Madrid 5-1 Deportivo
Nerja’s poor run continues after they were beaten 4-0 by Mijas, making it four losses out of four. Meanwhile, Real Madrid continue to climb up the table and are now in sixth place after a 5-1 win over Deportivo on Sunday.
Pedrosa wins in Aragon
Dani Pedrosa kept his faint championship hopes alive after winning the MotoGP in Aragon, his fourth victory of the season. Lorenzo, who won the title in 2010, came home in second place and now leads the standings by 33 points with four races remaining. Tech 3 Yamaha rider Andrea Dovizioso took third with Briton Cal Crutchlow finishing in fourth.
Sevilla 2-3 Barcelona
Two goals in the last four minutes saved the day for Barcelona as they came from behind against Sevilla to win 2-3.

A dominant performance by the Blue and Whites as they beat fierce rivals Betis 4-0 at La Rosaleda.
Wins for Real and Sevilla
Real Madrid are back to eight points behind Barcelona after a 0-2 win over Rayo Vallecano, the match having been postponed for 24 hours after the lighting system at Rayo was sabotaged.
