Renovation of Plaza Cantarero thought to be ‘imminent’
Work on Plaza Cantarero (Orange Square), originally scheduled for November 2008, has still not started but according to local residents in the area the renovations are ‘imminent’.
El Chucho promenade
Work on El Chucho promenade is almost complete and it’s looking good. There is lighting, seating and the paved area looks virtually done. Should be opening fairly soon. Still blocked off at the moment, though.
Health Centre Phase 1 contract awarded
The company Almisol has been awarded the contract for the first phase of works relating to the proposed new Health Centre.
Calle Carabeo, Nerja – update
Although the roadworks at the western end of calle Carabeo, scheduled to be completed at Easter, are still ongoing, the situation is much improved.
