The body of a man was found early this morning on Burriana beach in Nerja by members of the Municipal Cleaning Service who were carrying out their regular duties.
Foundation stone laid for new underground car park
Today was the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the new underground car park at Burriana beach, a project currently budgeted at around €3 million.

Diario ABC names Burriana beach as one of the ten most popular with foreign visitors
According to the Spanish newspaper Diario ABC, Burriana beach is in the top ten beaches in the country preferred by foreign tourists. It comes in at number four, behind Playa de las Americas (Tenerife), Playas del Papagayo (Lanzarote) and Playa de Barceloneta (Barcelona).
Swimming results

Environmental awareness project on Burriana beach
The Málaga Aula del Mar – Marine Museum – will be setting up its mobile marine laboratory in a tent on Burriana beach on Tuesday July 23rd in order to promote environmental awareness, especially amongst children.
