First Christmas lights going up…

The first Christmas lights are going up on the Balcón de Europa, on the Norfolk Pine in front of the church to be precise. The tree got a bit of a trim at the same time.

Let there be lights…

The Christmas lights are up in the centre of town, in calle Pintada and calle La Cruz. Anyone else think they look like the bases of beds adorned with a string of lights? It was a comment I heard this evening and I would have to agree, it was my first thought too. Colourful, though.

More Christmas lights this year

The president of the Asociación Centro Comercial Abierto de Nerja, Enrique López Cuneca, and the Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, have signed an agreement which will allow more Christmas lights to put up at various points around the town.

30% budget reduction for Christmas lighting in Benalmádena

Tonight sees the inauguration of the Christmas lights in Benalmádena, a novelty this year being the use of low energy bulbs which has allowed a 30% budget reduction. In addition to the lights, there will be four large Christmas trees, one in each of the main central areas and one in the port.

Preparing for Christmas in Fuengirola
