An earthquake measuring 4.8 in the Richter scale was felt in various parts of Andalucia just after midnight but there are no reports of any damage, material or personal.
Earthquake in Jaén province
There was an earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale at 23:25 on Saturday evening with its epicentre in the town of Santiesteban del Puerto, Jaén. The quake was particularly felt in Villanueva del Arzobispo but there were no reports of any injuries or damage, just furniture moving around.
Sunday ITV proceeds destined for Haiti
Fifty ITV (vehicle inspection) stations in Andalucia will be open on Sunday from 09:00 to 13:30, with the entire proceeds being donated to the Red Cross to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. At 13:03 today, an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter Scale had its epicentre in Alhama de Granada. The quake was at a depth of 10km and there were no calls received by the Emergency Services.

An earthquake in the early hours of yesterday morning was felt by the residents of Pinos Puente, Granada province. The quake measured 3.0 on the Richter Scale. It was the second quake of the week in Granada province, an earlier one measuring 4.2 had its epicentre in Ventas de Huelma.

There was an earthquake on Friday registering 4 on the Richter Scale. However, it was out to sea near the isla de Alborán, 26 kilometres from Málaga, and was too deep to be felt in any population centres.

At 02:47 this morning, an earthquake registering 3.3 on the Richter Scale occurred in Málaga province, the epicentre being the town of Macharaviaya. There are no reports of any damage.
Earthquake in Almería
At 19:58 on Friday evening, an earthquake registering 2.9 on the Richter scale occurred near the village of Armuña de Almanzora in Almería province. The quake was only felt faintly in the village itself. For those wishing for further details, the epicentre was at lattitude 37.7 degrees north, longitude 2.40 degrees west.
