An earthquake registering 3.8 on the Richter scale was registered in the municipality of Alhaurín de la Torre at 17:06 on Wednesday afternoon. The epicentre was just west of the town at a depth of 49 kilometres and went virtually unnoticed by the residents.
Quake hits Fuengirola
At 23:55 on Sunday night, an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit the town of Fuengirola, although no-one appeared to notice. The epicentre was just southeast of the town at a depth of 53 kilometres.

An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale occurred last night southwest of Lorca, Murcia.
Two quakes in Granada province this morning
An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale occurred at 03:31:56 this morning in Jayena, Granada province, and was felt in the town of Padula. Later, at 04:06:34, a smaller quake measuring 1.8 on the Richter scale occurred just south of Escúzar. There was no damage reported.
Small quake off the coast
There was a small earthquake measuring 1.6 on the Richter scale last night off the coast of Nerja which was felt by a few people in the town. It occurred at 00:30.
