The Gala de la Reina y el Caballero de Nerja – Gala to elect the Feria Queen and Knight – will take place on October 9th and will be hosted by singer Antonio Cortés and the dancer and choreographer Elena Gálvez Calvente.
Registration period now open for Feria 2014 candidates
The registration period is now open for those wishing to be candidates for the Feria Queen or Feria Knight 2014.
Frigiliana Feria 2014
Frigiliana Feria – Feria de San Antonio – takes place from June 12th to 15th and new this year is the I Carrera de Autos Loco – Crazy cars – which is on the 15th.

Not even the threat of rain during this year’s Feria, amazing stuff. Good crowd at the Feria de Dia in Plaza Tutti Frutti, bit like it used to be at weekends a few years ago, packed.
Daytime Feria photos
The daytime Feria celebrations have been taking place in Plaza Tutti Frutti, calle Antonio Millón and surrounding streets, although by far the most popular area has been Plaza Tutti Frutti itself.
Mirian Cid García is the Junior Feria Queen
The Junior Nerja Feria Queen 2013 is Mirian Cid García, with Judit Delgado Álvarez as First Lady and Alexandra Urbano del Río as Second lady. The title of Caballero Infantil 2013 went to Enrique Herrero Delgado, with José Manuel Platero Marfil as Primer Caballero and Cristian Prados Torres as Segundo Caballero.
Youth Information Point at the Feria
As usual the will be a Youth Information Point set up at the Feria to provide information about the harmful effects caused by the consumption of drugs, how to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases and other topics. The information point will be located in the Civil Protection booth and will be open on Friday and Saturday from 23:00.
Out and About October 8th 2013…
A bit of a scorcher today and plenty of people on Torrecilla beach. Some nice waves developed for the surfers, but it also mean’t that the sea came quite far in, overrunning the sunbed area. Not that anyone was bothered.
Ready for Feria…
The decorations are going up in calle Antonio Millón and Plaza Tutti Frutti ready for the start of Feria tomorrow night. The area should be buzzing during the daytime as from Thursday.
Feria del Rosario in Fuengirola
The Feria del Rosario has started in Fuengirola, continuing until next Saturday, and the Council is determined to maintain a very ‘Andalucian’ character to the event.
