Rincón de la Victoria Council has approved the allocation of one million euros this year to enable the start of construction of an indoor swimming pool and a multi-sports facility to be located in Huerta Julián.

Inauguration of new swimming pool in Campillos
The new indoor swimming pool in Campillos was officially inaugurated on Friday at a ceremony attended by the Mayor, Jesús Galeote, the provincial delegate for Sport, Antonio Souvirón, and the president of the Provincial Council, Salvador Pendón. The project cost €1.8 million and was financed by the Junta de Andalucia (50%), the provincial Council (€350,000) and Campillos Council (€550,000).
Exercise programme for the elderly at the indoor pool
Under the banner ‘active ageing’, the Department of Social Affairs has started an exercise programme for older people which takes place at the indoor swimming pool.
