A worker died on Wednesday afternoon while carrying out maintenance on the roof of a marble factory in Cantoria, Almeria. The Guardia Civil has opened an investigation into the incident which occurred at 17:15. The man was apparently wearing a safety harness at the time of the accident.

Industrial fatality in Cuenca
A 29 year old man has died in an industrial accident in Iniesta, Cuenca. The man was working on scaffolding about six metres high when for reasons not yet known he fell to his death. The accident is now under investigation.

One worker died after being buried in a trench while working on a building site in calle de Iquitos in the San Blas district of Madrid. His brother was miraculously rescued from the rubble unharmed.

A 55 year old man died today after falling from the roof of a bakery warehouse on the Los Alamos industrial estate in Atarfe, Granada province. It is thought that part of the roof gave way causing the man to fall about eight metres.

An industrial accident in El Saucejo (Sevilla) on Thursday claimed the life of a 40 year old worker. The man was working in a locked facility at km 18 on the A-451 when a large piece of glass fell on him. The incident is under investigation.
