Parque Verano Azul is the venue for a concert entitled ‘Fiesta del Fiesta de Canal Sur’ on August 20th from 22:30. A host of artists will be appearing although the definitive list has not yet been finalised.

A total of fourteen companies have submitted bids to build a Football 7 pitch in the Parque Verano Azul, the lowest bid being from the company Cade in the amount of €253,437.43. This bid has been provisionally accepted by decree pending full agreement of the Council.

The Gaudi bus, a travelling exhibition centre commemorating some of the work of the world famous architect, is down in Parque Verano Azul until Friday evening. Parque Verano Azul is also ver colourful at the moment, not only the big red bus but also the local blooms.
Botellón
The Local Police are carrying out a much more comprehensive monitoring of the weekly ‘botellón’ held each weekend in the Parque Verano Azul due to complaints received from local residents.
