Entertainment in Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos this week begins tonight, Monday, with a concert by the Coro Rociero El Lerele, starting from 22:00.

Most of the new energy saving lights have been installed at Torrecilla beach in Nerja, just a bit of work still going on.
Trampoline now in Plaza de los Cangrejos
The trampoline is now back in place for the summer season in Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos, near Torrecilla beach.
Another play area renovated
The play area at the bottom of Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos has been renovated and a new, weather resistant fence added. All the play areas in the town are gradually being renewed.
Replacement of rusty railings
Work has started to replace the guard railings at the bottom of Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos near Torrecilla beach, the railings having deteriorated since their installation in 2000 by the Department of Coasts.
Not bad for nearly the end of September…
A lot of people down on Torrecilla beach this morning, great for the end of September. The sea is calm and, today, very clean and clear. Plenty of people swimming as well although I would imagine the water is not exactly ‘bath temperature’, it got quite cold at the end of August.
Two special concerts in Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos
The ‘Diversons’ project of la Caixa”, which aims to promote exchanges between different cultures and traditions in the country, comes to Nerja on the 26th and 27th of this month with two concerts in the Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos.

Yesterday, August 1st, saw the start of nightly entertainment in the Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos down by Torrecilla beach. Monday is ‘film night’. Lots of activity in the plaza, with crafts stalls, henna tattoo artists, trampoline, massage…

During the month of August there will be events taking place every evening in the Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos, children’s events starting at 21:00 and the rest at 22:00.
