Torrox socialists approve PSOE election list

At a meeting held on Thursday, the socialists in Torrox unanimously approved the PSOE list of candidates for the upcoming municipal elections in May 2011, with general secretary and former mayor Francisco Muñoz at the top.

The PSOE has drawn up its list of candidates for the elections in May 2011, with 70% being the same as for the previous election.

Municipal accounts receivable

The deputy spokesman for the opposition PSOE in Nerja, Luis Peña, yesterday reported that the Town Hall has a total of €8.3 million in outstanding accounts receivable relating to the period 1990 to 2008.

Image makeover

The PSOE Andalucía is moving towards the selection and inauguration of José Antonio Griñán as the new president of the Junta de Andalucía following the resignation of Manuel Chaves.
